With a strong belief in the values of youth-centered design, ToRead continues to place young people at the heart of its innovation process. On the weekend of October 25, ToRead organized a youth hackathon to brainstorm, co-create, and design new features for the upcoming Takadam 2.0, the next version of ToRead’s opportunity-matching platform.

The hackathon brought together diverse youth from different regions and backgrounds who collaborated in teams to develop creative ideas that will shape the future of the platform. Over the course of the day, participants worked on improving user experience, proposing new functionalities, and envisioning how Takadam can better serve youth in Lebanon and the region.

This event represents ToRead’s first step toward a collaborative development roadmap, which will be officially launched in November 2025. The roadmap will outline the future phases of Takadam’s evolution and ensure that youth voices remain central in shaping digital solutions that impact their lives.

By adopting this inclusive, participatory approach, ToRead reaffirms its commitment to innovation, technology, and continuous learning, ensuring that its platforms and programs evolve hand-in-hand with the needs and aspirations of the youth it serves.
