On October 31, 2025, Hany Anan, Director of ToRead, participated in a panel discussion at Beirut Arab University as part of the forum “Ideas to Impact: The New Era of Entrepreneurship”, held under the patronage of Her Excellency Ms. Haneen El Sayed, Minister of Social Affairs.

The panel brought together inspiring Lebanese entrepreneurs who are shaping the country’s innovation and social impact landscape. Moderated by Francesco Bakhos, Project Manager at Smart ESA, the session also featured Dr. Wassim El Haje, Founder of Agonista; Georges Mrad, Founder of Volunteering Marathon; and George El Ghafari, Co-Founder of From Leb with Love.

During the discussion, Hany Anan shared his personal journey of founding ToRead, from an individual initiative to a social enterprise that has inspired more than 10,000 youth across Lebanon and the region. He spoke about the organization’s mission to create accessible opportunities for young people and highlighted how the Takadam Platform has transformed the lives of hundreds of youth by connecting them to life-changing educational, professional, and civic experiences.

The session was filled with energy, inspiration, and practical advice, encouraging students to turn their ideas into impactful ventures. Many attendees expressed motivation to begin their own journeys of change and entrepreneurship after hearing from the panelists.

By participating in such initiatives, ToRead continues to support, inspire, and connect with youth every day, staying true to its mission of empowering the next generation of changemakers through education, opportunity, and technology.
