As ToRead celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2026, we are looking back at the incredible journeys of our community through our special ‘Where Are They Now’ campaign. Today, we are proud to spotlight Ahmad Halimeh, a dedicated ToRead alumnus since 2024, to share how his path has unfolded over the years.

Who is Ahmad Halimeh?

Ahmad Halimeh, 23-years-old, is a Lebanese youth leader and a life skills and career guidance trainer who holds a degree in Computer Science. As a co-founder of V SQUARE, a Non-Governmental Organization, he has dedicated his professional path to youth empowerment and community development. His experience with ToRead includes his active participation in the Entrepreneurship Hackathon in 2024, where he further developed his entrepreneurial and leadership mindset.

The Success Story

Ahmad narrates his story: my success is rooted in my long-term commitment to social impact, which led me to co-found V SQUARE, a Non-Governmental Organization focused on empowering youth through volunteering, training, and community initiatives. As a leader in this initiative, I have contributed hundreds of volunteering hours and facilitated multiple training sessions in life skills and career guidance. My journey, which began at the age of 15, has evolved into leading programs that help youth build practical skills and engage meaningfully in their communities.
In parallel with my leadership at V SQUARE, I participated in the Entrepreneurship Hackathon with ToRead, where I strengthened my innovation skills and entrepreneurial thinking. This experience was pivotal in designing youth-led initiatives that align with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education and decent work. Beyond my work with the Non-Governmental Organization, I am a certified trainer dedicated to creating a ripple effect of positive change, ensuring that every young person I work with feels trusted and empowered to create lasting community impact

Recommendation

Based on his journey from a young volunteer to a Non-Governmental Organization founder, Ahmad encourages youth to act on their beliefs and trust in their own potential. He urges them to take proactive steps today, believing that when youth are trusted and guided, they can transform their communities through dedicated action.

Ahmad Halimeh is one of the thousands of youth that ToRead has worked with over the years. We are proud to shine a light on their success. ToRead continues to support the youth in Lebanon and the region through innovation, technology, and Entrepreneurship.
