As ToRead celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2026, we are looking back at the incredible journeys of our community through our special ‘Where Are They Now’ campaign. Today, we are proud to spotlight Doha Hammoud, a dedicated ToRead alumna since 2025, to share how her path has unfolded over the years.

Who is Doha Hammoud?

Doha Hammoud is a 23-year-old pharmacist holding a Master’s degree in Industrial Pharmacy, with a strong passion for public health and humanitarian work. Through her participation in the Ready4Work Bootcamp with ToRead, her professional journey evolved significantly, shaping her role as a Monitoring and Evaluation consultant and strengthening her focus on field leadership.

The Success Story

Doha narrates her journey, saying: My career reflects a deep commitment to turning knowledge into action and presence into impact. After participating in ToRead programs, specifically the Own Your Work program, I strengthened my path in the humanitarian sector, working with international non -governmental organizations on public health initiatives that serve vulnerable communities. This experience marked a shift from academic learning to real responsibility in the field, where every interaction, decision, and activity carries meaning.

In parallel with my field work, the Ready4Work Bootcamp was a defining moment in my professional growth; it sharpened my leadership in field settings, strengthened my ability to supervise teams, and enhanced my confidence in communicating with both colleagues and community members. Beyond technical responsibilities, I am involved in delivering health awareness sessions, believing that trust, clarity, and human connection are essential to sustainable change. For me, success is not measured by titles alone, but by the quiet moments when communities feel heard, and small actions lead to lasting impact.

Recommendation

Doha encourages young people to stay active and engaged in their communities and to lead with purpose. She invites youth to discover their potential through learning experiences like bootcamps, growing into confident and active contributors to society.
Doha Hammoud is one of the thousands of youth that ToRead has worked with over the years. We are proud to shine a light on their success. ToRead continues to support the youth in Lebanon and the region through innovation, technology, and Entrepreneurship.
